Blackineel is an artistic project developed by Karen Álvarez, also known as Karen Venus, that explores the possibilities to transmit the artist’s experiences, to explore human emotions and focuses on social criticism through visual and sound art and literature.
Karen Álvarez studied Hispanic Literature at UNAM and made a Professional on-the-job training at CENART and a Research internship at COLMEX.
